On the Spot Cryo is a fully mobile service serving events and individuals for any and all localized cryotherapy needs. After coming across the cryotherapy world by accident, I decided to bring this wonderful modality to those that have never experienced it. We offer service for humans, Equine, and those brave hounds that want to experience the benefits it has to offer. With one of my businesses being Caustelot Creamery where we make homemade ice cream using liquid nitrogen, I stumbled across this industry due.....
Cryotherapy can benefit any and all ages of Equine. With a targeted therapy, we can reduce inflammation from the head to the hoof and nose to tail using the body’s natural healing ability. Thermal shock causes blood vessels and muscles to constrict which immediately sends a response from the brain to send oxygenated nutrient rich blood to flood the area with dramatic increased flow to flush out toxins and begin the healing process. This also reduces pain by slowing nerve transmission and having an analgesic effect. Cryotherapy offers much faster results in much less time than traditional cold hosing and ice boots. The risk of hypothermia, damage to tissue, or damaging the hoof from ice or water are avoided by using a dry pressurized cold therapy.
For the athlete, cryotherapy can decrease soreness in muscles and joints. Reduce inflammation from injuries as well as speed up recovery time. If competing on a serious level, cryotherapy can make differences in results and performance level. Our mobile unit also offers a vibe plate as well as massage chair to add to the results.
For those of us that suffer pain from overuse, arthritis, post surgery/injury, or anything else, cryotherapy may be the answer. The process works by using the body’s natural response to relieve swelling, pain, and healing. We have been using ice forever for all of the above but this is a game changer. Therapy can be from 30 seconds to 60 seconds depending on the area. The provider cools the area down to possibly 40 degrees with a pressurized stream of cold air within seconds.
Cryotherapy can be used for cryo slimming. We are able to treat large or small areas of the body. From love handles, arms, legs, and others. Treatments are sold at a minimum of 5 visits. We do not sell anything less do to the fact the results are best with a 5 visit minimum. More visits will have better results. The process freezes the fat cells which are then excreted through the lymph system. After the cryo process, an additional 10 minutes is being placed on a vibratory plate to help get the lymphatic system activated is required.
